I can’t wait to read The Correspondents! It’s on my TBR for June! I’m reading Among Friends and really enjoying the writing and storytelling so far. I’m on a huge yogurt bowl kick at the moment and I started adding a few chocolate chips on top… so good!
That’s so funny I thought it was a summer setting until I started reading. I believe early on it says October. Besides that the setting hasn’t stood out I’m only about 100 pages in. I’ll keep you posted
Lots of these books are on my TBR! Currently listening to No More Tears (about Johnson & Johnson) and just started One Golden Summer. The best shows I watched in May were Four Seasons and Forever, glad they’ll both have a 2nd season!
I've been curious about Original Sin. The Yiyun Li book sounds really good. I haven't read her before but I know people loved her fiction. We are going into winter here but I got the new Emily Henry from the library for beach reading vibes. I'm hit or miss with her though—have you read it?
I also haven't read any of Li's fiction, but I'm very curious now. Her memoir is very moving and quite unique.
I've been and Emily Henry fan since Beach Read published so if you're hit or miss I might not be the best guide 😁 I haven't yet read her newest, I like to save her books for vacation bc they're very satisfying beach reading for me! I will read it this month.
Hahaha I appreciate the honest response! I'm going into this one with an open mind. I've read mixed reviews from big fans, which makes me think maybe I'll enjoy it 😉
Family Happiness sounds great, I really enjoyed Happy all the Time earlier this year as well. Those chicken taquitos need to happen in my kitchen soon!

I'm very interested in Among Friends! OK, so... It says it's set in autumn, but it has a June release? Would you say it's fall reading or summer?

I really enjoyed Four Seasons! Good to know it's getting a second season. I still need to watch Forever, also good to hear you enjoyed!
Loved The Correspondent. Such a lovely debut.
So glad you enjoyed it too!

I can't wait to read your 2 favorites, hopefully I can finish with the Netgalley ones soon and get to them!
