The Summer We Ran, The Ghostwriter (which I just chose for my June BOTM), Park Avenue, Atmosphere, The Poppy Fields, The Compound… I think there are more June book releases I’m excited about than the first 5 months of the year combined! ;)

SO MANY interesting books releasing in June! Definitely peak summer publishing. I can't wait to dig in!

I just added Summer We Ran to my list, thanks for mentioning it!

The Merlin App is so fun, glad you're enjoying it. I've been so happy to see my hummingbirds back for the season. I'm very much looking forward to Atmosphere!

Love seeing what’s on everyone’s reading radar. I’ve read and enjoyed a few June releases including The Ghostwriter, Don’t Let Him In and The Compound. They all kept me turning the pages.

Oh man, so many good new books coming out! As we are headed into winter on this side of the world and I have an insane amount of unread books at home, I'm trying to make my way through them, particularly the more immersive/deeper ones. I find those land better with the cooler days and longer nights.

The opposite seasons are always so confusing to me 😅 It's strange to think about you heading into winter right now. And I totally agree, colder months are perfect for deeper, longer, immersive reads!

10 years in and I'm still confused. Like, what do you MEAN September isn't back to school season 😅

So jelly! RS has been an auto-read author for me since Final Girls, but to my enduring sadness I have never been able to land an ARC in any format - rude! 🤪

Will be interested to hear your thoughts on The Names!

🤣🤣🤣 Only digital ARCS for me, living in Spain they don't want to send physical proofs anymore. But I tried twice with this one until I got it 🤪

I always request RS on Netgalley and they always just ignore my request. It's a fun game we play every year 😅

I am happy for you though, I hope you enjoy!

Exciting selections! I've been hearing about an upcoming series associated with someone named R. Solace. It's shrouded in mystery, but early whispers hint at a transformative addition to the fantasy landscape. Curious if others have insights?

I read an arc of The Ghostwriter, and it is excellent! I think Julie Clark is such an amazing storyteller.

On my radar this month, I have the new releases of Ashley Poston, Riley Sager, Lisa Jewell, Wally Lamb, and Ali Brady. I don’t know that I will get to all of them. I also read arcs of The Lost Diary of First Loves by RaeAnne Thayne and Just Beachy by Wendy Wax, which are both out today.

I also have The Parable of the Sower and Adam and Evie’s Matchmaking Tour on my June TBR, and then I will read whatever becomes available for me on Libby.

Happy reading!

I love seeing all of the book lists out by real HUMANS as well. AI generated writing is so upsetting considering how hard authors work on creating original deeply moving stories. Robots will never replace the human heart!! Anyway, love these June selections!!

🤦‍♀️ AI generated writing is so upsetting on so many levels. And you're right, the machines will never truly replace human heart and creativity. I fear our understanding of what art is what will be displaced. But in my more optimistic moments I hope we grapple with this whole thing and somehow come out the other side more appreciative of art and artists, we'll see!

Also, I quite enjoyed you're real, live, human summer reading guide! So many titles with impeccable summer vibes! I know these lists are a true labor of love and I appreciate the readers who thoughtfully create these resources.
