I thought Jane and Dan was a fun one. I absolutely loved Marin Ireland if she’s narrating I’m listening 😂 I’m currently finishing up Sunrise on the Reaping and it’s so good!!!!! I’m so excited to dive into the article about Addy. We are doing an American Girl homeschool curriculum next year and I’m really looking forward to it.
I don't know that I really recognized Marin Ireland by name though I did recognize her voice and after I looked up her catalog I see she has narrated quite a few books I've really enjoyed on audio so I'm definitely going to have to seek her out more!
Revisiting American Girl as part of your curriculum sounds so fun! Neither of my kids were into the books and I was so bummed about that. They were such formative books for me!
And we just started reading Sunrise on the Reaping! Only 2 chapters in, but I'm liking it so far. I found Songbirds and Snakes was a slog TBH 😬 So far this seems much more on par with the original trilogy and I'm really glad about that!
Sleep is very good and it's a story I keep turning over in my head. It has a unique style to it also that I can't really put into words. Definitely one to read!
I want to read Sleep! Loved that article about Addy. I never had one of the American Girl dolls but I looooveed the catalogues and books. I loved Samantha and Molly, too.
Sleep is very good! It has a unique style I can't easily put into words that I found very effective. It's well done, I think!
I really enjoyed that Addy article too! The American Girl books were some of my earliest favorites, I read a lot of them. Molly and Samantha were among my favorites too (maybe subconsciously this is why I named my daughter Molly?!) I definitely did not have one of the dolls and can't even remember them being something that were really on my radar TBH. But I loved the stories.

Ooooh, all three books you mentioned sound interesting, especially Sleep. Very much enjoying the garden updates!
