What a month! I felt the same way about American Fantasy, but am so happy she wrote this book for herself! I just picked up my Whistler library hold and can't wait to dive in!
Yes, I totally felt that Straub was really personally interested in the topics she was writing about when it came to American Fantasy and I liked that!
I was about to start Radiant Dark but decided to read some beach novels first hahaha I needed something light. But I'll read it soon, and Whistler too!
I loved Whistler so much! It was definitely my top of June. I really enjoyed Standard Deviation when I read it years ago and for some reason, Iโve never read any of her other books. Youโve just reminded me that I really need to pick up Early Morning Riser. Iโm away at a professional conference until Tuesday night but Iโm really looking forward to diving in to all of these links and looking at these recipes! I would highly recommend you check out Early Morning Riser! Heiny's short stories are also excellent, but not my preferred format. Novels will always have my heart!
